The objective- is to identify and study areas to improve artillery radar, mining of tactical requirements in the modernized SGAR-10 and ARC-1M and prospective radar (complex) of Artillery Intelligence. The object of research - is to use a radar for purposes of artillery reconnaissance. The subject of research - is the increasing combat effectiveness of the artillery radar reconnaissance of the Armed Forces of Ukraine through the gradual modernization of existing and prospective radar, taking into account the peculiarities of scientific and technological and economic situation of the state. Methods of research based on the provisions of the general theory of complex systems and of the theory of radars. During operation: - the analysis of status and trends of artillery radar reconnaissance was done; - designed and proved the directions of modernization radar type SGAR-10 and ARC-1M, of the increasing the measurement accuracy of coordinates and protection of high-precision weapons, improved working conditions, of increasing the automation of processing, storage and radar data for battle; - developed and proved tactical requirements for the upgraded radar type SGAR-10, ARC-1M, taking into account the possibility of using them in the fire reconnaissance and reconnaissance strike complexes; - developed and proved the technical direction of the improving the artillery radar intelligence efficiency in the battle order which is based on the concept of “future combat system” and proved tactical requirements for the prospective radar of the artillery intelligence and their components. Results can be used on the stages of development and justification the tactical and technical requirements for the upgrading the existing fleet of artillery intelligence radar and for the improving of their combat effectiveness, taking into account of scientific, technological and economic situation of the state.
