Carbon nano-structure fillers were prepared for polymer matrices that were used in lightning protection samples; mesh surface-reinforced composites were developed comprising nano-structure modifiers for polymer matrix. Sample composites were tested for simulating lightning strike discharge and practical recommendations were issued how implement advanced materials and technical solutions into production of wind unit blades.
