Potebnja Institute of Linguistics of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine popup.description2 In the result of our work over the theme "Slavic Languages in the context of the world cultural and historical realities" weighed scientific results have been achieved: a broad investigation of Slavic languages in comparative-historical and typological aspects has been carried out, allowing making a number of theoretical generalizations, important for realization of history of the development of Slavic languages and their interaction character with other languages, modern processes, taken place in Slavic languages, as well as for the general linguistics. The obtained results also give an opportunity to determine more precise formation of specificity and evolution of Ukrainian, to think over the influence of different linguistic and extralinguistic factors on its history and modern state, to prepare a number of scientific-popular works for wide population layers of Ukraine. During the work over the program 5 monographs were published, of total number of 101 pr.p., and also 3 books of total number of 45 pr.p., 4 dictionaries of total number of 131 pr.p., 918 articles of total number of 50 pr.p., 174 reports were announced.
