Technological conditions (including of using of mathematical modeling) were based and CM Ag -CuO and Ag-Ni were derived. It is established that the thermolysed mixtures under shock hot pressing provide a stable increase of tensile properties. In the non-equilibrium conditions of temperature and pressure influence for Ag based CM the signs of strain aging were observed. The morphology of fracture and the influence on it of the initial structure, deformation and dynamic recrystallization were studied. The studies of arc erosion of electrods from these CM were conducted. The spectral composition of the plasma between the electrods from CM was diagnosed. It was established of its correlation with structural changes in the working layer under influence the arc.
