The purposes of the work included consideration and analysis of approaches to estimation of recreation influence on the natural ecosystem. It was revealed that such estimation must include establishment of the stage of phytocoenosis digression, determination of basic types of loads together with coenosis stability and prediction of subsequent changes. The different aspects of estimation of phytocoenosis stability have been considered in this work as ability to resist to recreation influence, to function properly, and to regenerate fully upon conditions of loads' disappearance. The estimation of influence of the recreation load on phytocoenosis can be used for regulation and limitation of anthropogenic influence which, in its turn, will allow prevention of natural ecosystems' complete degradation under the action of recreation. Research methods include field investigation of forest ecosystems, study of literary sources, and analytical data analysis. Special attention was paid to problems of phytocoenosis' monitoring as an important element of nature ecosystems' saving.
