Aim of research: to define conditions and factors of the formation of the inner world of modern Ukrainian students, analysis of the life values and moral positions of the student youth; specifics of the students' perception of their civil status; analysis of the degree of recognition of the Ukrainian culture as representatives of Ukrainian statehood; analysis of the religious consciousness; analysis of the impact of different cultural models in the inner world of modern Ukrainian students; analysis of the impact of the society's crisis state, its moral-psychological atmosphere in the inner world of the student youth.Methods of research: the mass poll of students (total 3986 respondents); individual in-depth interviews with schoolchildren (15 interview) and students of high schools of Kharkiv (18 interview); half-standardized personal interviews with the same groups of respondents (respectively, 23 and 25 of the interview), 12 focus group interviews with students of Volyn and Kharkiv. Results: implementation of the project, particularly the implementation of quantitative and qualitative social research on a selected issue, has allowed us to draw conclusions about the changes taking place in the spiritual world, today's college students, including its value orientations and moral preferences, entertainment practices, etc., And also on the factors and mechanisms of these changes. Summing up with respect to exploration of cultural forms (models) presented in the spiritual world of Ukrainian students, we note that it is multicultural. In varying degrees, it presents the Ukrainian culture and Soviet culture, Western notions of different origin. It is an awareness of their cultural identity in a multicultural and allows a person to make a choice. In addition, the cultural heterogeneity should not be construed as a threat to social order or loyalty to the state. Ratio analysis of different cultural models (Ukrainian, Russian, Soviet, Western, etc.) and related systems of values ??allowed to determine what kind of meta-, macro-, meso-and microsocial factors determines the spiritual world of today's college students, in large As the state and causing changes in the spiritual sphere of the Ukrainian society as a whole.
