Experimental material was collected and generalized, indicative of the bioecological peculiarities of a set of diseases (mildew, gray rot, oidium) and pests (grape moth, red spider mites; cotton-boll worm, midges, leaf forms of Phylloxera, rust mite, etc.) attacking grapevine. Systems of protecting grapevine from a set of hazardous organisms were scientifically substantiated. A scheme of protecting grapevine from phytophagous mites envisaging one spraying with selective acaricides over the vegetation period was developed. Saturation of vineyards with predatory fauna was suggested as an alternative to the chemical protection to restore the natural regulation of phytophagous mite populations. A scheme of protecting grapevine from black rot envisaging two sprayings with a copper-containing fungicide over the vegetation period on the emergence of first symptoms and following 16 days was developed. The fungicides Switch 62,5 WG, Acrobat МC, Polyram DF and other preparations were recommended for field tests as effective agents of protecting grapevine against numerous rots (black rot, white rot, Aspergillus and Penicillium etc.).
