It shown using molecular markers (RAPD-PCR analysis) that plants of snowdrop from the Cherkassy region were identical to the plants of snowdrop of G. plicatus which grew in Crimea. It was established also that populations of snowdrop of G. elwesii ucr. auct. from the Odessa were poorly differentiated and the greatest part of their genetic variability came to intrapopulation variability, which was, respectively, 56,8% and 58,7%.
