The several kinds of materials for manufacturing three-dimensional substrates were tested. Analysis and testing methods for the formation of three-dimensional microtextured substrates was conducted. As a method of manufacturing three-dimensional substrates were selected photolithography and anisotropic etching of silicon wafers (100), which provide high accuracy, reproducibility, possibility of introduction to mass production and the relative ease of implementation. The three-dimensional substrate was fabricated on basis of the simulation and analysis results. The surface microtexture features depending on the material and substrate manufacturing method was investigated. The physical basis of homogeneous solid growth technology of CdTe semiconductor thin films on three-dimensional silicon substrates were developed and there morphology, structure and composition was investigated.
