Paton Electric Welding Institute of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine popup.description2 Problem-oriented mathematic software for study of complex 3D physical phenomena during obtaining of permanent joints from new perspective materials based on modern achievements in the area of computer engineering and computer technologies has been developed. The paper consists of three parts. The first part is related with development of the mathematical methods for evaluation of stresses state and risk of failure of welded assemblies which have the distributed geometric abnormalities of service character (for example, from corrosion). They can be classified as material discontinuity defects of a type of thinning of structure bearing wall. The defects of wall discontinuity in modern main pipelines were considered in a scope of this paper from point of view of their welding repair without stop of pipeline operation. This sufficiently specific issue has a series of tasks conditioned by repair of the defects without stop of pipeline operation that is not character for traditional methods. Sequence of the repair of separate defects at their sufficient quantity according to the results of in-tube diagnostics, safety of the welding repair of pressure pipeline, efficiency of the current wall reinforcing structures of coupling (bands) type can be outlined among these tasks. The second direction deals with forecasting of a risk of cold (hydrogen) crack formation during welding of modern high-strength low-alloy steels based on a method of distributed risk parameters: microstrucutre, diffusible hydrogen and stresses state. Application of the mathematic modelling and computer technique can help to solve this task, however, corresponding problem-oriented mathematic software is to be developed. The corresponding results are represented in the report. The following (the last) direction of the work is devoted to development of the subsequent problem-oriented mathematic software for investigation of processes of swelling of austenite type steels in welded structures under effect of high dose of radiation exposure of the material under serial temperatures below 470 C. Such a situation is character for the elements of internals (EI) of modern nuclear power reactor where swelling of EI is related with a risk of over reduction of the design gaps for convection currents etc. In particular it was determined that swelling of austenite steel of 08Kh18n10T type over 7% results in significant embrittlement of this material and, therefore, increase of a brittle fracture of EI in domestic VVER-1000 reactors at servicing time more than 4-50 years. In this case the predictive estimates are very important taking into account complex geometry of EI (for example, enclosure) and require development of the mathematical models and calculation algorithms. The corresponding data are represented in the report.
