Phenomenon of acoustooptical light diffraction was studied in crystals of quartz and paratellurite in collinear geometry. A setting was developed and the research of electro-optical Kerr effect was carried out in gases. A liothropic cromonical liquid crystals were proposed as a separate class of materials for organic electronics. In the Sn2P2S6 crystals spontaneous electrogyration effect and luminescence spectra in the temperature range 2-67 K were investigated . The temperature behavior of optical activity and electrogyration effect, dispersion of optical activity and absorption in crystals of lead germanate were studied. Analysis of the refractive indices and ellipticity of eigen waves at gyration and weak optical activity coexistence was carried out.
