Research aim was to study the effect of cryopreservation and lyophilization on the integrity of immobilized cells. Research methods: cell culturing; light, luminescent, confocal microscopy; spectrophotometry; immobilization on/in carriers; programmable freezing and lyophilization. For the experiments there was used programmable freezer of objects; inverted, biological, laser scanning microscopes, centrifuge, spectrophotometer. There were designed effective cryopreservation regimens of microbe cells, immobilized on/in carriers and the possibility of lyophilization of probiotics immobilized on enterosorbents was shown. There was established the possibility of substituting blood serum in media for cryopreservation of eukariotic cells. Efficiency of the introduction into practice, branch. The obtained results will be used when creating the preparations of immobilized probiotics of the 4th generation. These preparations are used in medicine, veterinary, agriculture.
