Established medical, social, psychological, organizational, and clinical factors that adversely effect on the state of fetus and newborn. Among the medical factors of reproductive losses and birth of children with disabilities is one of the leading light: chromosomal abnormalities and congenital defects, intrauterine infection, prematurity. A system for the early diagnosis of pathological conditions in women who have had reproductive losses in the past, during preconception counseling and pregravid preparation was developed. Summarizes the principles of regionalization of perinatal care in Ukraine. Scientifically justified the principles for reform of perinatal care. Established prognostic criteria of children disability formation after transferred birth trauma; designed and implemented a system of prevention and social rehabilitation for children with disabilities. It was proposed the algorithms of tactic of women who have had reproductive losses in the past or have had a child with a disability, depending on the cause-and-effect relationship. For the year 2012 published 4 scientific articles, read 17 lectures.According to the materials of SRW for the reporting period (2009-2012) were published in the press 16 articles, 10 abstracts in proceedings of scientific works, made 35 presentations at the scientific forums, read 31 lectures. Received 4 applications on protective documents. Of them received two patents: "A method for treating of congenital pneumonia in term newborns" № 74450, "Method of diagnostics and prediction of perinatal and hypoxic injury in term newborns" № 69448, and 2 of the application being considered in the Institute of Industrial Property: "Method of complex treatment of hypoxic-ischemic brain damage in preterm infants in the acute period," "Method of early diagnosis of hypoxic-ischemic brain damage in premature infants of different nature and severity"; published one monograph: "Hypoxia of the fetus and newborn asphyxia " and information letter "A method of preventing of purulent-septic complications in postpartum period in the women, who are preparing for the planned prompt completion of delivery."
