The purpose of the research work is a monitoring of information data on the practice of artisanal minerals mining and regulations (including other countries) regulate the conducting of artisanal mining in deposits and places of showings of natural stones and minerals. Research methods are analysis and systematization of information collected from print (bibliographic data) and electronic sources (from Internet). The question of artisanal mining of precious metals and precious stones is still relevant. The introduction of the method of artisanal minerals mining will ensure state regulation effectiveness of subsoil using, will prevent illegal minerals mining and trade, unconditional compliance with environmental legislation, will eliminate existing restrictions for entrepreneurs in a part of sale products of raw materials and natural stones. Within the first phase of the research work the information about practice of artisanal minerals mining and regulatory framework was analyzed, which regulating subsoil using, artisanal mining substantiation as the method of subsoil using in deposits and places of showings of natural stones and other minerals.
