Infested mollusks are discovered in the 27 areas. The primary operation of the material, flukes determination and the analysis of the parasites' morphological peculiarities are conducted. On the basis of the Parasitology Laboratory of the Natural Investigations Centre ( Vilnus) the methodology is operated and the DNA purification is carried out from the gathered material, which in the following will be used for the sequence analysis and the nucliotides consistency establishment in the marker gene of the investigated types of flukes. While paying the visit to the Natural Investigations Centre (Vilnus) the workers of the Cytogenetics Laboratory of the Zhytomyr State University undertook the internship on the modern investigating equipment and became familiar with the modern cytogenetic and molecular-genetic methods of the investigation that essentially upgraded their skills and would allow increasing the laboratory work on the new qualitative level.
