The aim of investigation ? to hold multivariate analysis of tumor cell heterogeneity by morpho-functional characteristics and identify the subpopulation of cells that reflect the properties of malignancy, to improve the accuracy of histological determination the stage of tumor development. Methods: histological, morphometric, densiometric, statistics. Investigation has shown that neuroblastoma as nuclear condition can be divided into two groups: monomorphic and polymorphic. In neuroblastoma cells and epithelial tumors of the colon there is a stable correlation between the size of the nucleus and the content therein nucleic acids, what has been discovered in all the investigated tumors. Moreover, the high level of correlation was determined between the area of cytoplasm and the content therein nucleic acids.We have been identified fundamental differences in the levels of correlation between individual characteristics in adenocarcinomas and adenomas of the colon. Performance correlations between some characteristics of neuroblastoma cells and epithelial tumors of the colon, characterized by varying degrees of variation, that may be use for distribution an array of tumors at different morpho-functional subgroups. High correlation between the content of nucleic acids and the size of the nucleus allows use, with high level of reliability, the core size in routine diagnostics, without complex methods for detecting nucleic acids.
