The aim of work is development of ways of insurance company tax burden optimization. The methods of investigation are semantic analysis, deduction and induction, historical method, method of abstruction, graphic method, coefficient method, analysis and synthesis, methods of dynamic comparisons and formalization, economic and mathematical modeling. The results of investigation are: the essence of concepts of tax burden, level of taxation, tax load is defined; the influence of taxes on economy and entities is investigated; the theoretical and organizational bases of paying taxes in the context of just distribution and shifting of tax burden are considered; the methodic of tax burden distribution on insurance business is developed using economic and mathematical models; the directions of optimization of tax burden on Public Joint Stock Company Skyde are outlined; the methodic of tax burden determination on micro level in Ukraine is improved. The results of investigation can be used for optimization of tax burden on insurance companies in Ukraine.
