A subject of research is a goffered plates jalousie separator. An aim of the project is a creations on the basis of mathematical modelling a method of calculations for jalousie type separators which will provide an increase of efficiency of drops catching after contact heat and mass exchanger at variable separator regime and geometrical characteristics . The basic investigative technique is the method of mathematical modelling. The mathematical model of three-dimensional gas-drop flow in space of jalousie type separator has been developed. The model uses the only experiment data which is a function of drops distribution in their sizes. The correlation dependences defining intercjnnective influence of major factors on an overall efficiency of a jalousie type separator are established.The method is suitable to use for contact heat exchangers of any heat technology applying with appropriating sprayer arrangement topology in its working space.
