The mathematical model of viscoelastic and viscoplastic behavior of polymer materials was proposed for welding with the use of thermal, mechanical and radiation energies. An experimental investigation of the temperature, deformation, energy processes in the welding area was studied and the influence of the main parameters of welding conditions on the morphology and strength characteristics of the welded joints was considered. It is shown that the optimal condition of welding is the formation of the fusion zone with a small number of crystallites, which belong to both workpieces. New welding technologies for semi-crystal polymers werecdeveloped and appropriate welding equipment was worked out and implemented in the production technology of welding for pipes up to 110 mm of for chemical resistant polymeric material , namely, Halar 910.
