The goal was to establish the ways of chemical modification of fossil coal, carbonaceous waste, mixtures that result in increasing the yield of liquid products during their thermal co-conversion. Methods - thermal conversion, fractional distillation of liquid products of thermolysis, IR and NMR spectroscopy, DTA. The effective reagents modifiers are ferric chloride and alkaline, they increase the total liquid yield of 1.2 - 2.2 times and the portion of valuable low-boiling fractions from 0.2 to 0.6. First established fractional and structural-group cjmposition of liquid products co-conversion modified raw materials. The results focused on the creation in Ukraine productions of thermochemical processing for large reserves of brown coal and industrial wastes into different products, including components of motor and boiler fuels. Possible applications of the work - coke-chemical industry and pants for organic waste processing.
