The study is aimed at complex analysis of the archival and new field data obtained on the MHI Oceanographic Platform in 2009-2012 with the use of radar, video camera, stereo photo system, laser radar and wire wavegauges. The analysis of the obtained data allows to study in detail the statistical properties of time-space structure of the sea surface that is the base for the interpretation of information obtained during ocean radar monitoring from the space. With the help of unique method of stereo image processing based on unification of both stereo procedure and image brightness analysis, the directional spectra of waves with lengths from 6 mm up to 30 cm were obtained in the range of windspeeds from 4 m/s to 17 m/s. The analysis of obtained spectra allowed to establish the statistically valid dependencies of main short wave characteristics on the wind speed and waving parameters. Scientific workshop was held in France, Brest, IFREMER to discuss the results of joint research on oceanographic platform.
