Fields exploited at the present time usually are characterized by simple geological conditions and low lifting cost, now they are almost depleted. The others need considerable investments for their detailed investigation, what had become impossible during the world depression and the landslide of oil and gas prices. So, the task of exploration of fields with complex geological structure (small sizes of fossil hydrocarbon fuel bodies, hard disturbed conditions of bedding, etc) is extremely urgent. Electrical logging and induction logging are basic methods for geophysical investigation in wells, which permit to determine physical parameters important for practice such as oil or gas saturation factors, daily flow of hydrocarbon fluid lifting, etc. It appears that existing methods of these loggings are unefficient or at all unsuitable to be used under complex conditions. The present work is devoted to the development of electromagnetic logging methods for complex geological conditions. The study of world achievements in this direction is complicated by the circumstance that such developments are carried out only by some commercial corporations, which do not disclose their methods. The work will consists of the substantiation of proposed approaches, the development and digital realization of simulation software for physical processes under complex borehole conditions, the development of new type devices and the development and digital realization of algorithms for quantitative geophysical interpretation of data obtained by means of these types of devices. The aim of the work is to create the technique suitable for using electromagnetic logging under complex conditions.
