Karazin popup.description2 The research is dedicated to solving a fundamental problem that deals with improvement of the Universe model. The problem has recently immerged in connection with the results of observations of distant supernovas and CMB (the WMAP project), which demonstrate that the Universe is presently in the stage of accelerated expansion. The work was carried out according to the goal-oriented program of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine "Investigation of the Universe structure and composition, hidden mass and dark energy" (Cosmomicrophysics"). The object of study is gravitationally lensed quasars (GLQ); their images are formed by gravitational fields of foreground glaxies in the case when they are situated close to the line of sight between the quasar and observer. The goal is elaboration of the method to detect compact masses, which do not radiate and distributed arbitrarily in the galaxy volume. It is shown that, because of passing the light rays by discrete masses arranged sequentially, a phenomenon of gravitational scattering arises, which is oriented forward to the observer. The indicatrix of scattering depends on the length of the light path inside the irregular medium of the galaxy. The angular size of the galaxy region, which efficiently transmits the light rays to the observer, is substantially larger than that, which can be estimated on the basis of the theory of gravitational lensing with the lensing galaxy thickness neglected. The indicatrix width is comparable with the width of the directional diagram of modern optical telescopes. To estimate distribution of compact masses in a lensing galaxy, synchronous observations of quasar brightness fluctuations at the telescopes of essentially different diameters are proposed. Analysis of such observations in the different spectral ranges will allow to separate the quasar parameters from those of the galaxy. Accounting for the fact of gravitational scattering of light will provide defining of the Universe distance scale determined from observations of supernovas.
