Kholodny Institute of Botany NASU popup.description2 Floristic, taxonomic, morphologic and ecological study of Cyanoprocaryota, Dinophyta, Bacillariophyta and Steptophyta of flora of Ukraine has been carried out; 4 volumes of "Flora of algae of Ukraine" are prepared; algofloristic zoning of Ukraine was done; concept of the approach to functional morphology of Bacillariophyta valves was proposed; full inventory of Charales of Ukraine with its analysis, floristic and taxonomic study of Euglenophyta, Bacillariophyta and Chlorophyta (flagellar and filamentous) of Right-Bank Forrest-Steppe Zone of Ukraine (533 species, 578 infraspecific taxa) were carried out; 1 genus and 2 species were described as new for science, 139 new nomenclatural combinations and changes of different level taxa were proposed, 2 genera, 89 species and infraspecific taxa were revealed for the first time in Ukraine.
