Objective: To study the transformation of the light wave and temporal dynamics of the interaction of multiple filaments in model media. Methods: time-resolved measurement techniques of spectral and spatial properties of femtosecond laser radiation. A new technique of time-resolved measurement of angular spectra of femtosecond optical pulses with Kerr shutter is for the first time proposed and tested. A new technique of time-resolved measurement of transverse intensity profile of femtosecond filaments with Kerr shutter - Longitudinal time-resolved optical polarimetry. Time-resolved measurements of the space-time transformation of the light field at the filamentation of femtosecond laser pulse in fused silica are performed and the interaction of two femtosecond filaments intersecting at 4,8 ? angle in sapphire is studied. Depending on the phase difference between the excitation pulses both attraction and repulsion of the filaments are observed in the region of intersection of the excitation beams. Temporal self-localization and temporal separation of femtosecond laser pulse during filamentation is for the first time directly observed using time-resolved technique.
