Work objective is to identify geologic-geophysical criteria of gas-dynamic activity of areas of faults accompanying hazardous mining-geological phenomena. Research technique is theoretical analysis and generalization of the results of the previous studies. Prerequisites for estimation of recent geodynamic activity of faults by active and passive geophysical methods are determined. According to the data of field acquisition tests of one of the faults using geophysical and geodetic methods strong time change of seismic and electromagnetic fields and also earth motion with a period of somewhere about 1.5 year are determined.
