The presence of clusters and clusters aggregates on the surface of the crystal modifies the transmission spectra of the respective area of the samples under study. Additional absorption bands at 375 and 384 nm are stimulated by the surface plasmon resonance within the clusters that have dimensions smaller than incident wavelength. Luminescence excitation studies have been carried out for energies ranged between 5 and 40 eV.
