The provisions of this Directive taken into account in the "Technical regulations of construction products, buildings and works", operating in Ukraine. This DSTU can replace (fully or partially) several existing ukrainian standards for metal sandwich panel, and expand the range of standardized products, such as on the types of insulation material that are not covered by current standards of national level. The standard establishes requirements to self-supporting double skin metal faced insulating panels (with facing as "zones" and insulating-structural core as "wall"), so-called sandwich panels (3-layers) as prefabricated products that are designed for elementwise mounting of following systems: a) structural covering and roof sheathing; b) external walls and cladding; c) internal walls (including partitions) and (suspended) ceilings.
