The Purpose of the research - an analysis of physical health, feeding of the elderly workers, their potential possibilities to continuation of labour activity at pension period. Research methods - social-hygienic, physiological, psychophysiological, and statistical. It was determined a number of physiological, psychophysiological and hygienic parameters of the general and professional performance of older people. It was found correlation between the quality of food and the development of cardiovascular diseases, diseases of nervous system, digestive system, endocrine and urogenital systems. More than 70% of the patients were overweight (BMI> 25). It was found significant relationship between BMI and indicators of functional reserves in men and women. The nutrition of the older workers age were irrational, unbalanced and did not meet the requirements gerodietetics was likely to create metabolic background for the premature aging and contributes to the progression of age-related diseases, reducing the potential of the organism to continue to work. It was observed high variability in some psychomotor and psychophysiological indicators in the age group 60-70 years, which is important for assessing and predicting individual employability of people of older age groups. Immediate physiological abilities of persons aged over 60 years providing residual capacity for work, which is 47.54% relative efficiency of young people. The recommendations was formulated and proposed for improving life in Ukraine by streamlining nutrition and increase physical activity by means of physical culture.
