Structural, electrical, mechanical, acoustic and optical properties of (As S ) (Ag AsS ) glasses with an increase of Ag AsS content are investigated. Structural studies by the means of scanning electron microscopy (SEM) help to reveal a formation of nanocrystalline opaque layer on a glass surface, presence of which lead to the increase of electrical conductivity. Compositional behavior of longitudinal and transversal ultrasonic waves velocities and damping coefficient is studied. The character of elastic properties changes in (As S ) (Ag AsS ) glasses with x increase is determined. As a result of internal friction and shift module measurements, the process of resonant absorption of mechanical energy by the superionic composites in a glass matrix is revealed. The nature of absorption edge, their transformation with temperature and Ag3AsS3 content variation in (As S ) (Ag AsS ) glasses are studied.
