New physical results are obtained: it was determined that the convective and Coriolis forces generate the exponential acceleration of rotation of a vortical flux resulting in the hydrodynamic instability of the atmosphere and stimulating the development of tornadoes and typhoons; various types of instabilities in astrophysical plasma rotating in magnetic field were studied for the purpose of description of vortices appearing in the turbulent motion of plasma in Sun's photosphere; the interaction of microwave EM field of a cylindrical dielectric resonator, immersed in superfluid liquid helium, with roton excitations in helium was investigated in the presence of a macroscopic superfluid vortex around the resonator; magnetic vortices in ferromagnetic nanoparticles were thoroughly analyzed and vortex creation was predicted for the micron-sized particles of antiferromagnetic with inclined sublattices; collective depinning of vortex lattices in epitaxial films and "coated conductors"based on HTSC cuprate YBaCuO, with account for the characteristic structure of crystalline imperfections and variation of the quantum vortex' type (Abrikosov, Pearl or Abrikosov - Josephson vortex) in accord with the external parameters, was shown to be the cause of various peculiarities of the dependencies of critical current in these materials on magnetic field, temperature and reversible strain.
