Objective of the research work - to develop the scientifically grounded methods and technologies for environmentally sound utilization of the energy potential of waste and raw materials, as well as for decontamination of hazardous waste with usage of alkali metals substances melts. Methods of research - design-theoretical and experimental ones.It is proved the possibility of obtaining high-quality producer gas from "salty" coal and "acid" goudrons (tar) and decontaminating toxic wastes that contain polychlorinated biphenyls in melts of sodium and potassium carbonates at temperature not more than 950оС. Efficiency of gasification processes in melts can be significantly increased by intensification of head-and-mass transfer processes in the reactor. Intensification is achieved as a result of the melt recirculation during optimal immersed combustion of raw materials or backup fuel. The proposed technological schemes for gasification of organic municipal solid wastes, oil processing waste and decontamination of chloro-organic toxic wastes have essential advantages in comparison with the existing analogues.Predictive assumption on developing the object of research - the results of research can be applied for realization of measures within the State target economic program for power-efficiency and development in the sphere of energy production from recovery energy resources and alternative fuels (2010-2015) and the National Plan for implementation of the Stockholm Convention on persistent organic pollutants.5481 Product Description popup.authors Коваль С.М Марек О.Б.
