In patients with ACS, A/A variant of the promoter (G-7A polymorphism) occurs 3.4 times frequently than in healthy donors. The relationship between genotype and ACS is associated with sexs: females homozygous for the minor allele A/A (G-7A polymorphism gene MGP) occurs 5.6 times more often than women carrying the main allele (G/A and G/G). The association of the studied polymorphisms with risk factors for acute coronary syndrome was found: among carriers of A/A genotype, ACS occurs more frequently in individuals with BMI ? 25kh/m2 and hypertension.
