We produced conceptual principles for creating the national publishing repertoire, which from one hand would be suitable for real needs of different reader's categories, and from another hand - wouldn't contradict with actual market mechanisms. We have also studied few special aspects of book culture: the phenomenon of collaborative authorship as objective complication factor of editing and publishing and also the peculiarities of publishing and editing of so-called art-books, which have considerable potential in continuation of functioning of traditional book in a digital age. We have marked out effective ways to increase the general publishing culture, produced recommendations for optimization content and formal characteristics for different publishing products, considering their effective market functioning.
