Till this time for cyclotron U-240 protons were accelerated up to the maximal energy 72MeV. Acceleration of an internal beam of protons up to energy 85MeV-90MeV allows to increase an operating time radionuclide strontium-82. Strontium -82 use for manufacturing generators short-time rubidium-82 which is used for cardiological diagnostics with application positron emission tomography (PET). Isochronous cyclotron U-240 KINR of NAS of Ukraine the-unique working accelerator overlapping a necessary range energy that allows to carry out an operating time of strontium-82 and practically all cyclotron radionuclide which are widely used in nuclear medicine. The basic purpose of development on a theme-formation of beams of protons of the big section in the field of an irradiation with energy 85MeV-90MeV and intensity not less 100mkA for an operating time of strontium-82 and others radionuclide which are applied in medicine.
