The aim of the work: development of methodological framework and the development of the theoretical of the functioning of the mechanism for regulating the currency market, the justification of the ways of improving the mechanism of currency regulation in Ukraine. Determined that the modern foreign exchange market is institutionally regulated market, therefore, an indispensable attribute of the foreign exchange market is the existence of functional elements of its regulation.
