An aim of work is study of the effect of synthesized fluorescent dyes on the structural and functional properties of different types of cells in vitro and in vivo at transplantation. Research methods are cultivation, light and fluorescence microscopy, spectrophotometry, flow cytometry, transplantation, histochemistry, statistical analysis of the results. Results and their novelty - it is first shown that seven of the twenty two newly synthesized fluorescent substances can be further used as dyes for monitoring cells in vitro and at transplantation. It was found that dyes synthesized on the basis of cholesterol and squaric acid are resistant to burning out, have high ability to be retained in the cells as well as have no negative effect on the viability, metabolic activity and proliferation of different types of cells. In this regard, the use of these dyes can be recommended for long-term monitoring of cells at transplantation. Dyes that absorb and emit light in the near-infrared region can be successfully used for noninvasive cell monitoring in the recipient. Fields of application are biology, medicine, diagnostic systems, transplantology.
