Dependence of the structure and parameters of longshore drifts in the coastal zone of the Western Crimea on the direction of storm winds is studied, characteristics of wave currents in Kalamita bay are determined. According to ultra-high resolution satellite images and full-scale measurements, the changes of shoreline of accumulative coasts of Western Crimea and was determined and their response to changes in the sea level. The results of numerical experiments in calculation of wave fields, currents and sediment movement in the West Coast of the Crimea are considered. The forecast of catastrophic floods and mudslides in the Crimean rivers is made on the basis of hydrometeorological models with high spatial and temporal resolution.
