In the development of PM we took into account the requirements, which are given in the SSE ChNPP document "Basic data on SRW services on the topic: Development of Procedure of Measurements of radionuclides internal content in the human body by means of the human gamma-ray spectrometer FASTSCAN". The developed PM allows to make measurements of the activity of gamma-emitting radionuclides (with radiation energy from 1 ? 105 eV to 2 ? 106 eV) in the human body by means of the human gamma-ray spectrometer "FASTSCAN". In the application of PM in the conditions established for the operation of the gamma-ray spectrometer "FASTSCAN", the limits, in which the relative error of activity measurement of gamma-emitting radionuclides in the human body, with the confidence coefficient P = 0.95, do not exceed ± 30%. Measuring range of 137Cs activity in the human body during the measurement time of 180 s, for the geometry: "whole body" is from 228 Bq to 1,7 o 106 Bq.
