The efficiency of complex degassing in such cases can reach 95%. Application of complex degassing of a working area by using wells and gas pipelines which remain undisturbed in uncontrolled working will increase the gas safety of long faces which work out gas-bearing coal seams with the load on breakage face of 1500 t/day by ventilation schemes of type 1-M and will increase to 20% the recovery of useable methane.
