The results of our research and practical experience in farms shows that in order to increase productivity and adaptive capacity of heifers from 12 - to 18 - months of age , it is necessary to take into account the species composition of population , economic and climatic conditions of the western Forest-Steppe of Ukraine. The content of heifers Ukrainian black - motley breed of dairy pasture provided by the use of cheap and full of green fodder , which reduced the cost of labor and material resources for the production of feed .
