Research purpose: development of theoretical positions and methodical approaches and practical recommendations aimed at improving motivation of personnel at the industrial enterprise. Research methods: classification-analytical method, receptions of statistical and graphic analysis, methods of logic analysis and systematic approach. Theoretical and practical results: the economic essence of motivation in the context of evolution of labour motivational theories is investigated. The basic categories of motivation are determined. The modern methods of motivation are considered and generalized, which form the basis of the motivational system of management at the enterprise. Novelty: the structural model of motivational process, which determines the conduct of worker and instrumental in the correct understanding of origin and satisfaction of necessity with the purpose of activation of labour activity of personnel, is improved.
