The physical and mechanical properties of the produced materials were studied. The scheme of radioactive waste geological repository, that is based on the Ukrainian natural materials and produced ceramic and glass-ceramic compositions engineering barriers, was chosen. An environment safety assessment of conditioned radioactive waste isolation by mathematical modeling was made. A mathematical model was developed, on the basis of that model a complex of computer programs for calculating the radionuclide migration parameters in engineering and natural protective barriers was created. In compliance with current model the calculation predictions of migration processes both in multi-barrier geological disposal of high-level and long-lived waste system and in the near-surface radioactive waste storage of low and intermediate level were carried out.
