The purpose of research: to breed a winter wheat variety for zone of Polissya and north Forest-steppe of Ukraine, competitive on the yield and quality of produktion, with high resistant to the disadvantageous biotic and abiotic conditions of growing. Methods of research. Creating of the breeding material was conduct with the method of crossbreeding with drawing of the valuable forms. The breeding process was conduct with the "pedigree" method. The results and the novelty. In the result of research in 2013 was transfer 2 winter wheat varieties to the state investigation: Pamyaty Girka and Kesaria polisska. There are winter wheat varieties Olgana and Schedrivka Kyivska on the state investigation now. In the result of breeding lines value in 2013 were select 8 perspective lines, which combine good winter-resistance and high yield. Are selected 16 breeding lines, which were create on the base of Triticum aestivum L. with the adding valuable genes from the wild species of grain, especially Aegilops L.
