Research purposes: creating of high productive, disease and lodging resistance, early ripening, with good grain quality and short-stem varieties. Research methods. Varieties and lines hybridization with the donors of the valuable agronomical traits: short stem, multiflorous, disease resistance and well-developed root system. There was selection of resistant and high productive lines in infectious background in the late stages of the breeding process. Resalts. Was developed high productive, multiflorous, disease and lodging resistant, early ripening, with good grain quality and short-stem breeding material. There were selected varieties and lines of winter rye for researching of the multiflorous effect with hybridization use. In breeding nurseries were selected 27 selection numbers, that exceed the yield of Siverske (st) on 0,37-0,98 t/ha or 12,3-32,4%. The new variety Vitvitske was successful trialed in 2011 and its yield exceed the yield of standard variety to 12,2-19,6%.
