For 2012 in the CMS experiment at the Large Hadron Collider ( LHC) at CERN was obtained data sample volume of ~ 25 -1 for PBN energy collisions of protons 8 TeV. Consistent and reliable LHC detector CMS, as well as computational grid infrastructure experiment became the basis for outstanding achievements - discovery of the Higgs boson ( 2012 ) , the first measuring the decay probability B0s ( 2013 ) and obtain new record restrictions the existence of "new physics" beyond the Standard model (SM ) . On the other hand, the rapid increase in the LHC luminosity significantly increased requirements for grid infrastructure CMS, created for the distributed processing of data of this experiment . Specialized computer complex ( VC) KIPT ( T2 Centre T2_UA_KIPT) is an active element of this hierarchical infrastructure , working on her 2nd " tier ". The complex data takes a POT , and computing resources used to analyze these data and computer modeling experiment CMS. During 2012 - 2013 years in the complex were transferred to more than 100 terabytes of data CMS, and the intensity of its use of computing resources was ~ 30 thousand kHEPspec - hours , or more than 70 % of the corresponding total contribution of Ukraine in the world-wide grid infrastructure for data processing with the LHC ( WLCG). Level of readiness to participate in the center of the CMS data processing exceeded 95 %, which is high enough quality indicator of the center . At the same time, the hardware parameters OK KIPT significantly inferior " nominal " T2 -center grid infrastructure CMS. In 2012, with funding from the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine in the framework of the State target scientific and technical program implementation and use of Grid technologies ( GTSNTP ) for 2009 - 2013 was supposed to modernize the complex with increasing total productivity of its compute nodes to 5.5 kHEPspec06 and data storage capacity up to 330 TB , thereby bringing T2_UA_KIPT center settings to " nominal ." However , due to the late transfer of funds under the contract by the State Treasury , to perform this work was only in early 2013 . During 2012-2013, was also a large amount of work on the physical analysis of experimental data from the LHC . In particular, in order to search for the Higgs boson of the Standard Model with a mass MH = 300 decays by GeV/s2 H0 Z0Z0 µ + µ analyzed data from CMS, the corresponding integrated luminosity WAC 4.4 PBN -1 and energy proton collisions in the center- mass of 7 TeV ( full sample obtained in 2011 ) . The analysis found no evidence for the existence of such a particle . These experiments CMS, received in the session 2010 - 2012 years , was also analyzed in order to find SUSY - particles study inclusive production - mesons in proton - proton collisions , and Drell-Yan process near Z - pole with working deconvolution algorithms muon mass spectra pairs . A study of the radiative properties of plastic scintillators SCSN -81 (Kuraray) and UPS-923A ( ISMA ) to assess the feasibility of their use in the end of the hadron calorimeter ( YES ) CMS in high luminosity WAC. In particular, we study the dependence of the degradation rate of scintillator properties set dose, which allowed to explain the significant discrepancy between the actual decrease in the signal from the active elements DA and earlier estimates . Taken part in the work on testing PMTs YES during a scheduled stop WAC.
