The method was extensively tested on the calculation examples such as the flow vortex structure and pressure fields in a flat channel in the presence of various geometric inhomogeneity on the walls and was adapted for the computation of both laminar and turbulent flow regimes. The nonstationary mathematical model of geothermal system was developed for solving the applied problems (environment - heat pump) taking into account spatial-temporal variability of the temperature field in the environment and energy characteristics of the heat pump. New scientific and technological approaches to the development of innovative strategies for designing of the sustainable geothermal systems were formulated based on the data of numerical and analytical results. An experimental study of possibilities to improve the aerodynamic quality of the wing profile was based on developed strategy of optimal flow control by generating a localized plasma discharges near the surface of the model. For this purpose Aerodynamic Complex Interdisciplinary Research was substantially modified, resulting in enhancing measurements accuracy, increasing the range of investigation tasks, and enriching of the experimental base of the Institute.
