Goal - to study the world's genetic resources genus Trifolium pratense, donor selection and adaptive hozyaystvennotsennyh signs of samples of different eco- geographical origin and forms of local ecotype creation on this basis of the future breeding material that combines stable yields of forage and seed resistance to adverse abiotic and biotic environmental factors. Methods of research - basic methods of breeding red clover is hybridization based on artificial and natural pollination and different types of selections (individual or group) . Theoretical and practical results - selection of red clover in the Ternopil region originates from the creation of the first selection grade in 1925-1927, Gloria . During the study period formed the local biotype , which fully complies with soil - climatic conditions of the region. The study of the world's genetic resources allocated genus Trifolium pratense donors productivity , quality and form with different types of adaptability . On the basis of hybridization mnogolistochkovih forms and the best varieties of local selection in 2009 was transferred to the State variety testing Pavlyna grade with improved performance and aft and in collaboration with the Institute for Agriculture and feed grade Podolya Politanka (2010) . During the period 2011-2013, at different stages of the selection highlighted accessions that meet the following requirements : - Dry matter yield in the amount of two mowings 13-14 t / ha ( 10-15% increase in the standard); - Seed yield of 0.3-0.4 t / ha ( 15-17% increase in the standard ); - Improved quality of food. Digestible protein content 22,5-23,5 % oblistyanist plants 52-55 % ; - High adaptive capacity . According to test results the best of them planned to transfer to state variety trials in 2014 Scientific novelty - selection on seed production and quality of a new direction is to change the morphological features of the plants based on saturating crosses and long-term selections biotypes formed by spontaneous mutations mnogolistochkovim plants with leaves and inflorescences binary . Economic efficiency depending on fluctuations in the seeds of 1000-1300 UAH / ha. Scope - agricultural enterprises of different ownership and forest-steppe zones of Woodlands of Ukraine .
