Escalator shafts are the most important items, which are responsible for the reliability of the escalator line as a whole. On the basis of published data and the experience of previous research carried out at the Institute of Gas, have been analyzed, which allowed to choose the most economical method for coating parts. The experiments on the effect of deposition parameters on the quality parameters of the resulting coating, allowed us to formulate basic recommendations for the selection and application technology of wear-resistant corrosion-resistant coatings on the escalator shafts.
