Purpose: to determine the order of reflecting number, composition and condition of electronic information resources in stocktaking records of the Central State Electronic Archives of Ukraine (the CSEA) stored in the CSEA of Ukraine considering the peculiarities of information objects that are processed in the information (automated) system of the CSEA of Ukraine and technology of their creating, transmitting, description, storage and verification of authenticity. Methods of the research: general scientific methods heuristic, method of system analysis and synthesis; scientific research; special methods archival study, method of information process modelling. Theoretical and practical results: were investigated the technical component of archival electronic information resources, possible states and statuses of electronic information resources during the production process in the CSEA of Ukraine; were defined constituent parts of the life cycle of electronic information resources within the production process for processing electronic information resources in the CSEA of Ukraine; were determined requirements for individual information objects that meet a certain condition and status of electronic information resources as well as requirements for certain processes relating to the creation, transmission, description, storage, maintenance and verification of the authenticity of the stocktaking non-described electronic information resources and archive electronic information resources. Novelty of the research: research on the topic had not been previously conducted. Scope of implementation: the CSEA of Ukraine and other government agencies that store electronic documents. Efficiency of implementation: to ensure the optimization of the production process of the CSEA of Ukraine: to identify the optimal flow of electronic information resources; to reduce the time for processing information objects and information about the process; to ensure improvement of archival stocktaking of electronic records in the CSEA of Ukraine; to facilitate the automation of stocktaking, processing, use of electronic documents; to simplify the access to their information.
